SAN FRANCISCO: WhatsApp, a mobile messaging app, has taken an important step towards the security of desktop users.

The company is working on two-step verification for the security and safety of desktop users, according to a report by WA Beta Info, a company that closely monitors WhatsApp.

This feature can be used on both desktop and web versions.
When the user scans the bar code for login, he / she will come across secret digits (PIN codes) which will allow the account to be logged on the computer only after entering.

To access an account like mobile, you have to enter a secret number or password on the desktop.

Earlier, WhatsApp offered this feature for Android and iOS mobile users, for which the user has to go to the Accounts option in Settings and turn on Two-Step Verification.

After opening the two-step verification, the user is required to enter his password or secret number to access the account.
