UAE suspends visa-free agreement with Israel
The UAE has suspended the visa-free agreement with Israel until July 1, 2021.
According to the details, the visa free agreement reached between the UAE and Israel some time ago was suspended till July 1, 2021.
The UAE Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it had decided to ban visa-free entry for Israeli citizens due to rising cases of the corona virus.
The UAE Foreign Ministry added that the situation would be reviewed by July 1, 2021, after which a decision would be made on whether to re-implement the visa-free agreement.
Following the suspension of the agreement, Israeli citizens will now have to obtain a visa to enter the UAE, as well as UAE citizens will have to obtain an advance visa to travel to Israel.
