Significant advances in making clove oil mosquito repellent more effective
Guwahati: Mosquito is still the most terrible enemy of man. Now experts have discovered that a compound called eugenol is found in clove oil. It can especially kill AIDS Egyptian mosquito larvae.
It should be noted that AIDS and Hepatitis fish are known to be the big killers due to the spread of deadly dengue disease and fever. Therefore, experts have started detailed research on clove oil. On the other hand, clove oil is a natural and environmentally friendly medicine as compared to chemical pesticides.
Although pesticides are not environmentally friendly and their contamination is very harmful. Then the pesticides accumulate in the soil and remain there for a long time and are harmful to humans and other animals. But clove oil does not have the same immediate effect, and research is being done to make it more effective.
Scientists at the University of Guwahati in India have worked on increasing the effectiveness of clove oil after continuous research. He carefully examined all the ingredients in clove oil and then extracted the most powerful ingredient from it. The name of this organic liquid is ‘Pi Peronyl Butoxide’ (PBO) which kills the larvae of AIDS hepatitis very fast. Therefore, this chemical can be an environmentally friendly and safe mosquito repellent.
Now, if it is used in combination with eugenol, it gives the best results. Eugenol is less toxic to humans and its use does not have adverse effects on the environment. According to experts, if low-cost chemicals are added to stagnant water and other types of ponds, all mosquito-borne insects are killed instantly.
