Saudi Arabia: Central Bank warns consumers
Riyadh: Saudi central bank Samaa has warned consumers to beware of fraudulent SMS.
According to Arab media, the Saudi central bank Sama has said that no messages have been sent to the customers by the bank, the customers have been receiving messages asking for bank details from the last few days.
The fraudulent message states that you have been transferred from abroad, confirm your bank details so that the money can be transferred.
Be careful, this is a new form of fraud that is being used on naive consumers, says Sama Bank.
The bank has said not to share your bank details and data with anyone, neither Sama nor your own bank officials are authorized to ask you for confidential information.
