Risk of another deadly virus outbreak in Asia
Asian countries at risk of a global pandemic corona virus could soon face another emerging Nipah virus threat, with a much higher death toll.
According to the news agency, researchers on the virus say that if lessons are not learned from the corona virus epidemic, the Nipah virus has the potential to infect many people and the death rate due to the virus will be up to 75%.
The Nipah virus, which begins with bats like the Sars Code 2, has spread to Malaysia, Singapore, India and Northern Australia over the past 20 years.
Researchers say there is no vaccine available to deal with the deadly virus, which could specifically target Nipah virus infections.
