Older people can be infected with corona despite vaccination, says British health expert
The British health expert has warned that despite taking the vaccine, the elderly can get coronary heart disease.
According to Professor Wayne Tim, a British health expert and deputy chief medical officer, no vaccine is 100% effective, so there is no guarantee that you will be safe from corona even after being vaccinated. In the elderly, it can take up to 3 weeks for the immune system to become stronger after vaccination, during which time there is a risk of contracting the corona virus.
They say the virus can spread to others within 2-3 weeks of being vaccinated, so lockdown restrictions should be followed even after the vaccine is given.
The number of people infected with the virus has risen sharply in the UK, with more than 1,300 people killed, bringing the total to more than 97,000.
