Kuwait: Strict campaign against those who do not wear face masks
Kuwait City: The Manpower Inspection Department has launched a crackdown on those who do not wear face masks in malls and markets in Kuwait.
According to the details, the Kuwaiti authorities have instructed the people that strict checking has started in the malls and markets, so they should cover their noses completely with face masks.
Engineer Fatima al-Jalabi, head of the inspection department at the Public Authority for Manpower, warned in a statement that the agency’s inspectors in the Al-Rai area had imposed fines on several people for improperly wearing or not wearing masks.
In Kuwait, shopping malls and markets have been fined for failing to display social distance on the floor.
Fatima Al-Jalabi warned in a statement that if the face masks and social distance law were found to be violated again in the said places, they could be held legally accountable and handed over to the judiciary.
He said that the women’s inspection team specializes in inspecting women’s salons, institutes, clinics, tailor shops and other shops, so caution should be exercised.
According to the inspection department, the women’s inspection team made 28,000 visits, during which 444 violators were fined, and 4,400 were issued warnings, while 4 shops were sealed.
