Alleged abduction and gang rape case of first year student, 2 more accused arrested
Two more accused have been arrested in the case of alleged abduction and gang rape of a first year student in Karachi, bringing the number of arrested accused to four.
According to investigators, DNA samples of the girl and the four accused have been taken and will be sent to the lab today. Only after the DNA report comes out will it be clear about the abuse.
Investigators say the mobile phones of all the accused have been seized and the victim’s mobile phone is also with the police. Police officials said that all the data has been deleted from the girl’s mobile phone and given to her. Only after forensic examination of DNA, CCTV and mobile phones will progress be made in the case.
It is to be noted that a first year student was gang-raped after being abducted on her way to college from Gulshan-e-Hadid on Friday. The accused had fled after throwing the girl in the Defense area.
